Portland Timbers defender Marco Farfan made his MLS, home debut on Sunday against the New England Revolution at Providence Park.
Making just this second league appearance, the Homegrown Player led the Timbers with eight tackles from his left back position against the Revs.
Head coach Caleb Porter complimented Farfan's overall performance Sunday.
"To come home and put together a similar performance like the one he had in LA, it just shows this kid, his future and I thought he was great on both sides of the ball," said Porter. "A really good performance out of him.”
The Timbers have had at least one player on the MLS Team of the Week or its bench in each of the first five weeks of the 2017 regular season.
