Michael Jamieson | Discovery Manager, Academy
Originally from Liverpool, England, Jamieson joined the Timbers organization in 2023 as Director of Youth Programs. In his current role as Discovery Manager, he oversees all Discovery Junior and Senior operations, including player registration, event logistics and staffing. Jamieson also serves as the Head Coach for the U13 and U14 age groups with the goal of introducing players to the Timbers Pro Pathway. Prior to joining the club, Jamieson held various leadership positions at FC Portland Soccer Academy and New York Red Bulls Academy. Before moving to the United States in 2009, he also spent time working for AS Roma in Italy and Liverpool Football Club in England.
Jamieson has a USSF “A” license and UEFA “B” license.
