The 2016 edition of Stand Together Week got off to a sunny start on Monday as players from the Timbers, Thorns FC and T2 all worked along side club staff, fans and volunteers around the city.
Projects today included Thorns FC's Emily Menges and Michelle Betos at The Children's Book Bank, Hayley Raso and Mallory Weber along with T2's Trevor Morley, Irving Garcia and Christian Duarte worked at Timber Jim's Garden in the Tualatin Schoolhouse Food Pantry. Meanwhile, at the Portland Police Sunshine Division, Thorns FC's Katherine Reynolds lent a hand while over at the Community Cycling Center, Thorns McKenzie Berryhill, Mana Shim and Celeste Boureille teamed up with T2's Kharlton Belmar and Rennico Clarke to work on bikes. Finally Thorns defender Kendall Johnson worked alongside volunteers at the Oregon Food Bank.
