Timbers Academy defender Owen Guske has been called in to camp with the U.S. U-17 National Team for a nine-day training camp at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center.
Guske is one of 24 players called in by U.S. U-17s head coach John Hackworth. The camp will feature two games, played against teams from the LA Galaxy and Liga MX side Club Tijuana.
“This camp allows us the opportunity to continue to teach our objectives as we build this pool of players,” Hackworth said. “We will be focused on providing these young men with a quality training environment and games against older players that will challenge them to execute our principles of play.”
Guske has played for the Timbers Academy at the U-17 and U-19 levels during the 2017-18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season. He was last called in to camp with the U.S. U-17s during the U.S. Youth National Team Summit held in January.
