Brenden Leon (U-15) and August Nystrom (U-16) were invited to a USYNT identity camp.
The Portland Timbers Academy received invitations for Brenden Leon (U-15) and August Nystrom (U-16) to participate in U.S. Men's Youth National Team Domestic Identity Camps taking place in February and March.

Leon received a second invitation to join a U.S. Soccer's U-15 Men's Youth National Team Domestic Training Camp, hosted in Phoenix, Arizona. The domestic youth camp will run from February 24-March 3 and will give Leon an opportunity to once again show his skills amongst the top U.S. U-15 talent. Leon had his first youth national team domestic training camp experience in Novermber of 2024 in Fayetteville, GA.
August Nystrom
Nystrom also took part in an identity camp, participating in the U-16 U.S. Men's Youth National Team Domestic Identity Camp from February 18-25 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The domestic youth camp brought together the top U-16 talent from around the country, giving Nystrom his first youth national team experience since joining the Timbers Academy.

The Portland Timbers have restructured and expanded their academy starting with the 2024-25 MLS Next seasons to include three age categories: U-15, U-16, and U-18.
