Week 13 of the 2019 MLS regular season saw Timbers forward Brian Fernandez continue his hot start with the club as he scored two goals against the Philadelphia Union in a 3-1 victory. The striker now has three goals in his first wo matches with the club and it earned him a spot on the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi.
Teammate Diego Chara, who assisted on Fernandez' second goal, was named to the bench. The stalwart Portland midfielder had a 93.8% passing accuracy in the match – best in the starting XI.
