PORTLAND, Ore. - A Western Star 4900 is bringing the spirit of the Portland Timbers and their fans cross-country by transporting Timber Joey’s victory log from its home at Providence Park in downtown Portland to Columbus, Ohio. The log will make the trip across the country to be with the club and its supporters as the Timbers square off against Columbus Crew SC in MLS Cup on Sunday, Dec. 6 (1pm PT, ESPN).
The log is expected to arrive in Columbus by Saturday, Dec. 5. Western Star Trucks is a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America.
