PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Timbers forward Felipe Mora was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for matchday 32, the league announced today. Mora registered a goal and an assist in the Timbers’ 2-1 road win over Austin FC on Sept. 17. Notably, it marked Portland’s first road win since April 29 at St. Louis CITY SC.

Mora, 30, recorded his first assist and third goal of the 2023 campaign in the match against Austin. It marked the Chilean forward’s first multi-goal contribution performance since 2021. Mora has tallied three goals and an assist in the Timbers’ last five matches, helping them remain unbeaten in their last four (3-0-1).
The Timbers will return home to host the San Jose Earthquakes for a midweek matchup at Providence Park on Wednesday, Sept. 20. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (Pacific) on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app in English and Spanish as well as local radio broadcasts, 750 The Game (English) and La GranD 1150AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).
