Chara started all four games for the Timbers in April, logging 360 minutes. As a team, the Timbers registered an 80 percent pass completion rate in three games during April, with Chara being a large contributor, registering a 90 percent (46 of 51) and 93 percent (56 of 60) successful pass rate against Seattle and NYCFC, respectively. He scored his first goal of the season April 4 against FC Dallas.
Nagbe continued his strong start to the 2015 campaign in April, playing the full 90 in all four of the club’s matches last month. He recorded his second assist of the campaign in a win over FC Dallas on April 4, earning MLS Team of the Week honors for Week 7. Helping lead the attack, Nagbe recorded a club season-high seven successful dribbles in the win over NYCFC.
Powell played every minute over the club’s four matches in the month of April. He aided in a clean sheet on the road in a 1-0 victory against New York City FC, with a team-high 11 tackles in that match. Also active in the attacking third, Powell registered a team-best seven crosses against Orlando City SC.
Ridgewell started every match in April, continuing his extended starting streak dating back to 2014. He helped anchor a shutout on the road April 19 at New York City FC, registering a team-high 10 of his 27 clearances for the month in that contest. Ridgewell anchored a backline that registered a 0.50 goals-against average on the road in April.
