The Portland Timbers and LA Galaxy battled to a scoreless first half on a rainy afternoon at JELD-WEN Field.
But in the second half, new Timbers forward Maximiliano Urruti got on the scoresheet for his first goal as a Portland player. On a corner kick, Will Johnson drove the ball low near post where Urruti tapped a brilliant side foot flick into the back of the net.
