Perez aka "SiNo_QuieresN0" will now advance to the eMLS Amateur Cup national tournament
Antony “SiNo_QuieresN0” Perez defeated Luis “LuiChui10” Madrigal by a 3-2 scoreline in the final of the eMLS Amateur Cup - Portland Timbers, presented by McDonald's on Tuesday night. The tournament pitted some of the region's best FIFA 23 gamers in a single-elimination online tournament. All players lined up Timbers rosters.
In the championship match, SiNo_QuieresN0’s side was down 2-0 in the 20th minute but got back into the game with a goal from Dairon Asprilla in the 38th minute—Perez called him his own “Mr. October”. A second half brace from Felipe Mora delivered the victory.
Perez, 25, won a grand prize package that includes a $250 gift card to McDonalds, a custom team jersey, a $100 gift card to PTFC Authentics, and $100 in FIFA Ultimate Team Points.
The Gresham gamer, who has been playing FIFA since 2005, now advances as Portland’s representative in the eMLS Amateur Cup national online tournament which will take place October 29 and 30. The grand prize package includes a trip to MLS Cup on November 5.
