On Wednesday, players from the Timbers and Thorns FC will come together for a special match to benefit nonprofits The Nature Conservancy and Keep Oregon Green and their work in the environment and conservation.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. (Pacific) live from Providence Park.
Tickets are free, donations encouraged

Charity Match Format
The Green is Gold Charity match will consist of two, 30-minute halves with a 15-minute halftime. Should be the match be tied at the end, a winner will be decided in a penalty kick shootout.
It's Team Green vs. Team Gold - get to know the squads
Team Gold, with Sophia Smith, Evander, Becky Sauerbrunn and Diego Valeri, takes on Diego Chara, Christine Sinclair, Jack Jewsbury and Sam Coffey on Team Green.
Teams were selected by four co-captains - Diego Chara and Meaghan Nally for Team Green, and Eric Miller and Gabby Provenzano for Team Gold - in an entertaining charity match selection show.
