Today is a bittersweet day for me. I am leaving a beautiful place, a place in which I lived wonderful moments. It has been a very intense 18 months and surely with the passing of time I will continue to value it more and more, but I am returning home, to my country, to Estudiantes de la Plata, a club that I love so much. That is why I wish to thank all of my teammates, all the people that work for the club, Merritt, Gavin and Caleb for believing in me and for giving me the opportunity to be part of the history of this fantastic club. I also wanted to thank all of the fans that made me not miss the stadiums in Argentina, because I don’t have any doubts that Providence Park and its fans are the greatest in MLS. I wish the maximum success for the team and to my teammates, perhaps someday our paths will cross again. From my country I will always be looking for news of the Timbers. I leave you with the greatest regard from the bottom of my heart.
Hoy es un día agridulce para mí. Dejo un lugar hermoso, un lugar que me hizo vivir momentos muy lindos. Fueron 18 meses muy intensos que seguramente con el tiempo lo voy a valorar mucho más, pero vuelvo a mi casa, a mi país, al club que tanto quiero como Estudiantes de la Plata. Por eso quiero agradecerles a todos mis compañeros, a la gente que trabaja en el club, a Merritt, Gavin y Caleb por confiar en mí y por darme la oportunidad de ser parte de la historia de este club tan lindo. A los hinchas que me hicieron sentir querido y no extrañar tanto las canchas argentinas - porque no tengo dudas que el Providence Park y su gente son lo más grande de la liga MLS - les deseo el mejor de los éxitos a ellos y al equipo. A mis compañeros quizás algún día nos volveremos a encontrar. Desde mi país siempre estaré buscando noticias de los Timbers. Les dejo un saludo muy grande, de todo corazón.
