10' - SAVE (POR) - Timbers goalkeeper Steve Clark came up with a great point-blank save as Sounders forward Raúl Ruidíaz took a shot from near the penalty area only to have Clark smother the shot.

13' - GOAL (POR) - Portland took a 1-0 lead as winger Jeremy Ebobisse won a ball in the Seattle half before carrying forward. He then led a perfectly-weighted ball through to winger Yimmi Chara who rocketed through the central channel, splitting the Sounders defense. Chara one-timed his shot past a diving Stefan Frei to score in his third straight match.

31' - TACKLE (POR) - Seattle pushed forward with a ball that sprung Cristian Roldan into the Timbers 18-yard box. However, Portland midfielder Diego Chara raced in and placed a perfectly-timed tackle to knock the ball out for a corner.

70' - SAVE (POR) - Seattle's Kelvin Leerdam sent in a rising shot that Clark jumped to push over the bar.
