Match Moments

9' - GOAL (POR) - Eyrk Williamson scored his first career MLS goal to put the Timbers up 1-0 with a stylish strike in the ninth minute. Starting with the ball 30 yards from goal, he dribbled in forward before sending a give-and-go with Diego Valeri in traffic and then sprang free slotting his right-footed shot past Seattle's Stefan Frei.

33' - SAVE (POR) - Timbers goalkeeper Steve Clark sprang to his right to palm away a dangerous ball on frame from Seattle's Nicolás Lodeiro

40' - SAVE (POR) - Clark had another nice save minutes later when Seattle's Jordan Morris found space to the left side of goal to get a shot off that the Portland 'keeper made a one-handed save on.

42' - GOAL (SEA) - Seattle evened the score at 1-1 when a cross into the Portland box bounced out to Kelvin Leerdam at the edge of the area who one-timed his shot into the back of the net.

49' - CHANCES (POR) - The Timbers busted out on a counter with Valeri leading the way. Valeri chipped a ball over the defense that Seattle defender Yemar Gómez got a touch to but right into the run of forward Jaroslaw Niezgoda. The forward hit his shot but Frei dove to his left to save. Moments later on the restart, Portland got the ball to winger Jeremy Ebobisse behind the line and his shot was also saved by Frei.

59' - CHANCE (POR) - Valeri curled a 30-yard free kick up and over the wall but also just over the Seattle crossbar.

78' - CHANCE (POR) - Valeri sent in a corner kick that found Julio Cascante. Cascante snapped down a header on target but right at Frei for the save.

83' - GOAL (POR) - Portland went ahead 2-1 when Felipe Mora scored his third goal in as many games taking a perfectly weighted ball from Williamson to slip through the Seattle defense and shoot it into the lower part of the net.
