Portland's Diego Valeri has been busy of late. The Timbers midfielder has scored a goal in four straight games, joined the 50 career goals, 50 career assists club, and on Friday night in the team's 2-0 win over the New York Red Bulls, Valeri had the game-winning goal as well as an assist to boot.
The performance earned him a well-deserved spot on the MLS Team of the Week (Wk 24).
