PORTLAND, Ore. - Forward Jaime Velasco’s humble beginnings playing soccer in Alaska ultimately landed him a great opportunity to play collegiately for the University of Portland, and for the Timbers U-23s last season.
In a sit-down interview with for PortlandPilots.com, Velasco talks about his path to the Rose City and his summer with the Timbers U-23s. Velasco appeared in 10 games for the Timbers U-23s during the 2013 Premier Development League (PDL) season, recording one goal and one assist.
