PHOTOS | Hundreds come together for Downtown Portland clean-up!

The 'We Believe In Portland' event on April 19 helped clean the Downtown and Providence Park area of the city.

MLS is celebrating Earth Month all of April, and in partnership with Stand Together and the club's Green Is Gold platform, the Portland Timbers joined hundreds of Portlanders for a day of community service focusing on cleaning up the Downtown Portland and Providence Park area.

Timber Joey and VP of Community and Social Impact Dr. Robin Beavers led the way for Timbers staff and fans' participation at the We Believe In Portland community clean-up event. Starting in Portland's living room – Pioneer Square, the volunteers helped by cleaning up debris and garbage on the city blocks, eventually making their way up towards Providence Park and doing the same around the stadium commons.
