Thorns FC got off to a flying start Saturday night with a 4-1 victory over the Boston Breakers in the opening game of the 2015 NWSL regular season. Three players combined to score four goals on the night: Sinead Farrelly, Mana Shim and Allie Long. Long had a brace while Shim had two assists as well.

Kendall Johnson does the dirty work on the wing before feeding to a wide open Mana Shim. Shim one-timed it into the low corner in the 38th minute:
Shim then chipped a ball over a defender for Allie Long who then cut to goal and scored in the 71st minute:
