Rose City Rewards membership does have its privledges. On Sunday, Timbers Army season ticket holder Kent Perera, was crowned the 2013 Rose City Rewards Champion for amassing 5,170 points over the course of the full 2013 season.
For her efforts, Perera was recognized in a special pregame ceremony ahead of the Portland Timbers game with the Chicago Fire. Timber Joey gave her a custom cut log with her name on it.
To earn the honor, Perera accomplished the following:
-Attended 19 matches 75 minutesbefore kickoff, including Playoffs (100 pts for each early entry)
-Attended 19 MLS matches (including Playoffs)
-Attended 3 Exhibition Games (Including Copa Verde)
-Watched 27 Timbers In 30 Broadcasts (50 points for each viewing)
-Watched 13 away games shown on local TV (50 pts per view)
-Watched 3 away games at an Official Viewing Party
-Purchased tickets and attended U.S. Open Cup 4th Round
-Attended 3 away Timbers games in person
-Purchased Portland Thorns FC Season Tickets
Coming in second and third place was Paul Keller with 4,945 points, and Milan Homola with 4,505 points respectively.
