PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers have waived defender Anthony Manning, the club announced today.
Manning, 23, was selected by the Timbers in the third round (No. 52 overall) of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft, starting in 15 USL games and logging 1,045 minutes for T2 in his rookie season. In 2016, Manning started and logged 90 minutes in the first two games of the season for T2 (March 26-April 2) before sustaining an injury.
