2 In the last meeting between the clubs, defender Larrys Mabiala became the fourth Timbers player to secure a brace against the Sounders in MLS play. In the 43-year history of the rivalry, Mabiala was just the seventh Timbers player to record a multi-goal game against Seattle.
7 Reigning MLS MVP Diego Valeri has delivered seven career assists in MLS matches against the Sounders. Valeri is tied with the retired Brad Davis for most career MLS assists against Seattle.

Additionally, the 71 goals scored is just one behind the LA Galaxy and the San Jose Earthquakes for most goals in any matchup in that span.
