The Portland Timbers will play in their final regular-season road match of the year when they travel south to take on the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium Saturday night (7:30pm, KPDX). Here are five numbers to know for #SJvPOR in the latest Quick Strikes. 


3 Forward Darren Mattocks has earned three penalty kicks this season, tied for third-most in MLS in 2017. The striker has also contributed two goals and two assists in his last six matches.  


10 In the midst of an historical run of form, record-setting midfielder Diego Valeri now leads the race for the MLS Golden Boot with 20 goals. In the last 60 days, Valeri has scored 10 goals. 


.67 Over the course of the last six matches, Portland's defense has conceded just four goals for a goals against average of .67, with the Timbers logging four wins in that stretch. 


18 The Timbers have scored in 18 consecutive matches, which is the longest current streak in MLS. Only once has Portland scored in more consecutive games in a single season in all eras of the club and that was in team's original season in 1975, when they scored in 20 straight matches.


2 In each of the last two matches, Dairon Asprilla has delivered an assist. The two assists equal the midfielder's output from his first two seasons with Portland and give him four assists in 2017.
