The Portland Timbers kick off a month-long homestand as they face off against the Montréal Impact, Saturday night at Providence Park (8pm PT, FOX 12 PLUS). Here are five numbers to know for #PORvMON in the latest edition of Quick Strikes.
4 The match kicks off a stretch of four consecutive home games for Portland. This will be the first time since the club joined MLS that it has four consecutive matches at Providence Park.
.73 In his 11 regular-season starts this season, goalkeeper Jeff Attinella is undefeated and has conceded just eight goals. His goals-against average of 0.73 is the best in the league and he is the only MLS goalkeeper who currently averages less than one goal conceded per match.
12 Portland enters Saturday's match on an 12-game MLS unbeaten streak, which is the longest in the league this season. The streak is also the second-longest in the team's MLS history behind a 15-game run in 2013.
10Since the team's unbeaten streak started in mid-April, Portland has conceded just 10 goals, which is four fewer than any other club in that span. For comparison, Montréal has conceded 26 goals since April 14.
20 The Timbers and Impact have met 20 times in all competitions dating back to when both teams played in the USL. The Timbers currently lead the all-time series with a record of 9-7-4.
