After a 0-0 draw in the first leg, the Western Conference Semifinals series between the Portland Timbers and the Houston Dynamo will finish up at Providence Park Sunday (4:30pm, FS1). Here are five numbers to know for #PORvHOU in a special Audi 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs edition of Quick Strikes.
6/23 The Timbers ended the regular season on a six-match home winning streak, scoring 16 goals while allowing only three. The six-match home win streak is the longest active streak of any of the remaining eight playoff teams. With a combined 23 wins over the last two regular seasons, the Timbers have the most home victories in MLS since the start of the 2016 season.
147 Midfielder Amobi Okugo made his MLS postseason debut debut against Houston on Monday night. The No. 6 pick in the 2010 MLS draft, Okugo had played 147 MLS regular season games prior to his playoff debut.
2 Goalkeeper Jeff Attinella made two saves in the first leg to help the team secure a clean sheet in his first career MLS playoff game. Prior to Monday, Attinella's last playoff game as a professional was a championship-winning performance with the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the 2012 NASL Soccer Bowl, where Attinella made three saves in a penalty-kick shootout.
5 Portland is undefeated in its last five home matches against the Dynamo. In those five matches, the Timbers have four wins and have scored two or more goals in each of the five matches.
7 The Houston Dynamo are the seventh different team that the Timbers have faced in the MLS playoffs. Other than Real Salt Lake, Portland has at least one victory against each of the previous clubs in the postseason.
