PORTLAND, Ore. – David Da Costa scored his first goal in a Portland uniform – a free kick strike in the 89th minute – to lift the Portland Timbers to a 1-0 victory over Austin FC Saturday night at Providence Park. Goalkeeper James Pantemis made four saves and the Portland defense held firm for the clean sheet and the team's first win of the 2025 MLS regular season.
