Mora scores team-leading fifth goal of the year
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers fell to Cascadia rival Seattle Sounders FC 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Providence Park. Felipe Mora opened the scoring in the 15th minute before the Timbers conceded a goal in each half leading to the loss. Facing a quick turnaround, Portland will return to Providence Park to host the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday, May 15.

The Timbers today unveiled Tillamook® as their new front of jersey sponsor in a multiyear deal. The Oregon-based, farmer-owned dairy cooperative made its debut on the Timbers kit in today’s match against Seattle Sounders FC. A long-time partner of the club, the Timbers have represented Tillamook around the stadium since 2014 through activations like the “Cheddar Baby Loaf” that fans know and love, and availability at concessions throughout the stadium.
