Ross Smith joins the MLS Season Pass broadcast team

USL-era Timbers player. MLS Timbers broadcast analyst. And now MLS Season Pass match analyst.

MLS announced today that Ross Smith will join a group of 30 other broadcasters for MLS Season Pass in 2023, the new streaming service launching on February 1 on Apple TV. Smith will join two other Timbers veterans—Jake Zivin and Diego Valeri—on the new service. 

MLS Season Pass is unprecedented subscription service on the Apple TV app, will feature every match of the regular season, Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and Leagues Cup all in one place, with consistent match times and no blackouts. The service will also feature live pre-game, halftime, and post-game analysis, and a fast-moving whip-around show that will provide live look-ins and analysis from all the key moments from every match.
