Ryan Sierakowski joins Timbers Academy as Assistant Coach

Former Timbers2 forward will work with the U-18 and U-16 squads.

PORTLAND, Ore.  –  The Portland Timbers Academy is bringing a former Timbers2 player into their coaching ranks, welcoming Ryan Sierakowski as the new U-18 and U-16 Assistant Coach.

Sierakowski, 27, first arrived to the Rose City after being in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft from Michigan State University. While with the Spartans, Sierakowski appeared in 82 matches with 33 goals and 16 assists, setting the university record for most career points. During his time in Portland, the Barrington, Ill., native registered over 2,000 minutes with Timbers2 in USL Championship play, making 33 appearances and contributing eight goals and two assists (2019-2020). His playing career also included stops with Real Monarchs, New England Revolution II, Forward Madison, South Georgia Tormenta – where he helped them to a 2022 USL League One Final Championship – Richmond Kickers and overseas with Greek side Episkopi.
