Donovan Ricketts put forth a valiant effort in goal for the Portland Timbers in their 2-2 draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps, making a number of his trademark quality saves to prevent Portland from suffering a defeat.
No save was arguably bigger, however, than his denial of Kekuta Manneh late in the second half.
With Vancouver pushing on for a late winner after Camilo scored the Goal of the Week, Ricketts got down low and well to incredibly deny a blast from Manneh. The stop ended up winning the Save of the Week award in Week 32 by a large margin, earning more than 69 percent of the week's vote.
Just as impressive as the vote total Ricketts earned is that this is the Jamaican international's ninth Goal of the Week honors this season. It had been a while for Ricketts, though, as his last award came in Week 22.
