As SEAvPDX Week gets into high gear, now is your chance to rep the Timbers.
Portland and Seattle finally have the chance to duke it out on the pitch – in FIFA 20. From 6-8pm PT on Thursday, fans can register for free to take part in The SEA vs. PDX FIFA Showdown hosted by Matcherino, pitting the Green & Gold against the Rave Green.

Points from the results of each individual match – three for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss – will be combined to determine an overall winner between the Timbers and Sounders, earning fans bragging rights. Three lucky participants from each team will also be randomly selected to receive a signed item from their team.
Additionally, the Showdown’s marquee matchup will take place at 7pm PT, with Portland defender Bill Tuiloma facing off against Seattle goalkeeper Stefan Frei for club and FIFA glory. At 7:30pm PT, the two clubs’ eMLS representatives – Portland’s RCTID Thiago and Seattle’s TheMarsBars11 – will also compete for their shields. Fans can tune into the Twitch channel for their respective teams to check out the action and cheer their side on to victory. Throughout the stream, and during the week, fans will also be encouraged to donate to their club’s selected community COVID-19 relief charity – the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette for the Timbers and the Seattle Sounders FC Relief Fund for Sounders FC – with the ability to donate directly online.
Proceeds directed to the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette will benefit their Safety Net program, providing critical services for local families in need.
