PORTLAND TIMBERS FIELD AT MONTAVILLA PARK | MLS ALL STAR 2014
MLS WORKS and Stand Together hosted the All-Star Community Day to celebrate the opening on Portland Timbers Field at Montavilla Park. Members of the 2014 All-Star team, including Diego Valeri and Landon Donovan joined CEO Merritt Paulson and President of Business Operations Mike Golub to unveil and dedicate a new futsal court. Local families enjoyed a day at the carnival and had the opportunity to participate in soccer clinics and a tournament.
THORNS FC VISIT PROVIDENCE CHILDREN'S CENTER
Vero Boquete, Alex Morgan, Christine Sinclair and Thorns FC players had an exciting afternoon with their new friends racing in relay games and playing with the parachute. See all the fun here!

The Thorns thanked fans for their support at the Season Ticket Holder Appreciation event, Tobin Heath met with soccer free stylist K. Penner, Mana Shim visited a girls soccer team at Liberty HS, Special Olympics OR and WA participated in a Cascadia Challenge mini match before the Seattle match and Timber Joey was everywhere during All Star Week!
SOMOS TIMBERS
Somos Timbers put on bilingual clinics in Gresham and Forest Grove. Maxi Urruti and Norberto Paparatto were the special guests and visited with the young players. Watch the recap here. Somos also also participated in the Virginia Garcia Health and Resource Fair in Cornelius where participants were offered free health screenings.
