Since the beginning of the 2014 season, the Nigerian forward leads MLS in braces with eight, one ahead of his fellow countryman, Obafemi Martins. With his two goals against Crew SC, Adi now has 12 goals on the season, which is a new Timbers MLS single-season record, besting Diego Valeri's goal total in 2014.
