200Diego Valeri became the third Timbers player during the MLS era to make 200 starts in league play with his start in Sunday’s match against D.C. United. Diego Chara (254) and Darlington Nagbe (203) are the only other players in team history to make at least 200 league starts with Portland in MLS.
523 The Timbers finished the match with 523 completed passes, which is the second-most in team history. Andy Polo led the way with 67 successful passes on 72 attempts.
67.3 For the match, Portland held the possession advantage with 67.3 percent. That is the highest possession percentage the Timbers have had in a match this season and tied for the third-highest since the club joined MLS in 2011.
