The #StatMan Three | Portland Timbers 1, San Jose Earthquakes 0 | July 5, 2015

For the second time in 2015, Timbers midfielder/defender Jack Jewsbury delivered a stoppage-time winner as Portland defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 Sunday night at Providence Park. With the goal, Jewsbury became the first Timbers player to score two stoppage-time goals in a single MLS season. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match.

10 Jewsbury's game-winner was the 10th goal scored after the 75th minute this season for Portland. No other MLS team has scored more than eight goals over any of the 15-minute intervals (1-15, 16-30, etc.) this season. San Jose remains the only MLS team that hasn't scored in the final 15 minutes of a match this season.

5 The victory was the fifth consecutive home win for Portland, which ties the longest such streak since the club moved to MLS in 2011 and is tied for the longest in MLS this season. Both Portland and Sporting Kansas City are in the midst of five-match home win streaks.

47 In their last two matches, the Portland Timbers have peppered their opponents' net, recording a total of 47 shots. That number is the most ever recorded by the Timbers over the course of two MLS matches, besting the previous high of 46 (14 on Aug. 31, 2014 vs. Vancouver and 32 on Sept. 7, 2014 vs. San Jose).
