Friday's game joins last season's June 11 match against FC Dallas and the 2013 season opener against New York Red Bulls as matches when the Timbers came back from two goals at the half. Additionally, it’s the fifth time in the last three seasons the team has come back from two down at any point in the game to earn a result.
20 Midfielder Darlington Nagbe notched his 20th career goal becoming the second MLS Timber to reach the 20 goal plateau for the club, joining Diego Valeri. Nagbe also joins the top 10 on the all-time Timbers goalscoring chart, tying NASL-era attacker Stewart Scullion.
14Lucas Melano's late game-tying goal was the 14th Timbers goal this season scored after the 75th minute. That number is the most goals scored in MLS in the final 15 minutes of matches this season and makes up half of Portland's 28 goals for the season.
