#StatMan Three | Portland's Diego Valeri reaches minutes played milestone

The Portland Timbers lost a gritty match 1-0 to Sporting Kansas City at Providence Park Saturday night. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match.

10,000MidfielderDiego Valeri became the fourth Timbers player to play at least 10,000 MLS regular-season minutes for Portland. He joins Diego Chara, Darlington Nagbe, and Jack Jewsbury in the 10K club.

22For just the third time in three years, the Timbers had over 21 fouls or more (22) called against them in a match. Drew Fischer was the referee in all of those matches.

6 The match was a nightcap of a doubleheader with Portland Thorns FC defeating the Orlando Pride 2-0 earlier in the day. Providence Park became the sixth stadium domestically to ever host both a professional women's soccer league match and an MLS match in the same day.
