22 The Timbers scored for the 22nd consecutive regular-season match which is the longest active streak in MLS. Portland hasn't been held scoreless in a regular-season game since May 27, 2017.
7 Portland finished the match with seven shots on target, the most of any road team in MLS' opening weekend. Blanco led the way with three shots on goal.
37 Manager Giovanni Savarese took the reins for the first time as head coach of the Timbers. Savarese is the first Venezuelan-born manager in MLS history with Venezuela becoming the 37th different country to produce an MLS manager.
