The Timbers won their fourth-straight match as they beat the LA Galaxy, 6-3, on Wednesday night at Dignity Health Sports Park. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from #LAvPOR.
1 Playing in his 72nd consecutive match in all competitions – a feat that tied a club record – forward Jeremy Ebobisse delivered the first free-kick goal of his Timbers career. The goal came on Ebobisse's first-ever free-kick shot as a Timbers player.
6 The match was the second time this season that the Timbers have scored six or more goals in a single match. Prior to this season, the Timbers had never scored six goals in an MLS match.
3X6 Forward Felipe Mora scored his fifth and sixth goals in MLS this season with all six coming in his last eight matches. The Timbers are the only team in MLS with three players with six or more goals (Diego Valeri, Ebobisse).
