Continuing their preparations for the 2018 USL regular season, T2 defeated the University of Portland 3-1 in a preseason match at Merlo Field on Friday night.
Pressing the Pilots high up the pitch, T2 struck early on when a T2 trialist pounced on a giveaway by a UP defender and slotted the ball past the onrushing keeper in the eighth minute. T2 doubled their lead over the Pilots when forward Jeremy Ebobisse dribbled past a pair of defender on the edge of the 18-yard box and rifled his left-footed attempt into the far corner of the net in the 33rd minute.
T2 took a 3-0 lead in the 53rd minute following a free-kick delivery in the box that fell to the feet of unmarked defender Modou Jadama, who took a touch on the edge of the six-yard box and curled his shot into the back of the net.
