Coming in at No. 8 is T2 defender Lamar Batista. In his first season with the club, Batista leads the team with 31 interceptions and 46 clearances in 14 appearances (13 starts). Additionally, the Oklahoma City, Okla., native ranks second on the team with 704 completed passes.

Another promising central defender with the physical abilities to compete and stand out in the USL, he's learning on the job as he seeks to improve his understanding of the game and defensive positioning against experienced competition.
