Two first half goals by Thorns forward Alex Morgan and midfielder Allie Long led the Thorns to a 2-0 win over the Chicago Red Stars. It was the Thorns' fourth consecutive victory in the 2013 NWSL season. Goalkeeper Karina LeBlanc recoreded two saves to mark her second shutout of the year.
