Academy defender Leon earns first U.S. youth national team camp experience
Portland Timbers Academy defender Brenden Leon has received an official invitation to join the U.S. U-15 Men's Youth National Team Domestic Training Camp in Fayetteville, Georgia. The domestic youth camp will run from November 14-20 and will bring in some of the top U-15 U.S. talent from around the country. This will be Leon's first youth national team experience after joining the Timbers Academy in 2024.

The Portland Timbers have restructured and expanded their academy starting with the 2024-25 MLS Next seasons to include three age categories: U-15, U-16, and U-18.
