Timbers Academy's Daniel Nuñez returns to El Tri's U-17 squad following his participation in training camp back in June. The 4 Nations Tournament will take place Sept. 4-10 in Duisburg, Germany.
PORTLAND, Ore. – Timbers Academy midfielder Daniel Nuñez has earned another call from the Mexico U-17 National Team.
Following his participation in the Mexican U-17 training camps in June, Daniel Nuñez will rejoin the Tricolor in September for an international competion - the 4 Nations Tournament.
A three-matches-in-six-days invitational, the 4 Nations Tournament will see the young El Tri face their counterparts from England, Germany, and Israel in Duisburg, Germany. It all kicks off on Wednesday, Sept. 4, with Mexico's opening match against the England U-17s. They then take on their German hosts before concluding their participation against Israel.
