PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Timbers Academy midfielders Sawyer Jura and Ian Shaul have been called up by the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team for the Vaclav Jezek Tournament in the Zlin region of the Czech Republic from Sept. 16-26.
Both Jura and Shaul made head coach Gonzalo Segares’ 20-player roster, where they’ll face U-18 teams from Slovakia, Germany and the Czech Republic. Both players recently participated in U.S. U-17s training camp held in August in California.
