Due to severe winter weather in the Portland area, Major League Soccer today announced that the Portland Timbers’ first match of the 2023 season against Sporting Kansas City at Providence Park has been postponed to Monday, Feb. 27.
Previously scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25 with a 7:30 p.m. (Pacific) kick off, Portland’s home opener will now kick off Monday at 7pm PT at Providence Park.
Tickets originally bought for Saturday will be honored for Monday’s match. All Timbers matches will be streamed live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app in English and Spanish.
