PORTLAND, Ore.— The Portland Timbers today announced the opening of a new official team store in downtown Portland. The Portland Timbers Downtown Team Store, which opens its doors to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, is located at 519 SW 6th Avenue.
Conveniently located on SW 6th Avenue between SW Alder Street and SW Washington Street, the store will offer an assortment of MLS Timbers merchandise, including official team jerseys and training wear, hats, scarves, and plenty more.
The store will keep daily hours – Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 12 noon to 6 p.m. – to give fans ample time to complete their holiday shopping.
Parking is available directly above the store in the Alder Street Parking Garage for $1.85 per hour and will be validated with purchases of $50 or more. Metered street parking is also available.
Additionally, its location on the yellow and green MAX lines makes it easily accessible from any part of the Portland metro area.
The store will remain open through April 2011, at which time the team’s stadium flagship store will open at the newly renovated PGE Park.
Portland Timbers gear is also available online at shop.portlandtimbers.com.
The Timbers will unveil the official jerseys for their inaugural season in MLS on Thursday, Dec. 9, one day before the store opening.
