On-site collection set to take place at Timbers home match against LA Galaxy on March 16.; all collections will happen at Gate F.
The Portland Timbers will host a collection site for the KGW Great Food Drive at Providence Park on Sunday, March 16.
Donations for the Food Drive will be collected at Gate F prior to the Timbers match against the Los Angeles Galaxy (1:30pm PT | TICKETS). Fans are encouraged to donate canned foods, nut butters, rice, shelf-stable milk, flour, oatmeal, granola bars and sugar.
For more information on the Great Food Drive or to make donations online, visit kgwfood.com. Every $10 donation made online provides 30 meals and will help Oregon Food Bank purchase, collect and distribute food through a network of 21 regional food banks and more than 1,400 food assistance sites.
The KGW Great Food Drive has a goal of reaching 1.2 million meals and are currently about 30% of the way there!
