PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers today announced that the club signed defender Pablo Bonilla to a two-year contract extension with a club option year.
Bonilla, 23, enters his third season with the Timbers. The Acarigua, Venezuela native has made 26 starts in 30 appearances, tallying two assists. Most recently, Bonilla joined the Venezuelan Men’s National Team in their 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches on Jan. 28. The defender has made 12 appearances for the Venezuela’s U-20 men’s national team.Â
