PORTLAND, Ore. – Playing their second match in four days, T2 will travel to play LA Galaxy II at the StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 6; kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (Pacific).
The match on Saturday marks the second and final meeting between T2 and Galaxy II this season, with Portland falling 4-1 in the previous meeting between the two clubs at Merlo Field on July 16.
T2 (5-11-4, 19pts) enter Saturday’s match looking to build on their 1-1 draw against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at Merlo Field on Aug. 3. After Colorado Springs opened the scoring in the 73rd minute from a curling shot from outside of the box, T2 leveled the match three minutes later from a set-piece play. T2 goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh, making his 13th start of the season, finished the match with a team single-game high of 10 saves. Through 20 games, midfielder Neco Brett ranks first on the club in goals scored (4), while Bijev and midfielder Kharlton Belmar are tied for the team lead in assists (3).
